I was born in Sulęcin, but I have always been connected with Zielona Góra. I studied graphics and painting at the University of Zielona Góra. I started my professional career as a laboratory assistant at the Institute of Art Education (currently the Institute of Visual Arts at the University of Zielona Góra). Currently, I am an assistant professor and head of the Second Photography Studio at the ISW. I defended my PhD thesis entitled "Quotes of Time and Memory. Intermedial Objects" at the Faculty of Art of the Technological and Humanities University in Radom. In my artistic and educational activities, I deal with both traditional analog and digital photography.
