Interior Design (BA)

First degree full-time studies
3-year studies, ending with a bachelor's degree

Studying the field of interior design prepares you to design interiors, furniture and small architecture objects. The study program combines interdisciplinary projects in the field of design, interior design, design, exhibitions, landscape interiors and green areas with learning about practical aspects - building standards, ergonomics and construction. The program is complemented by the implementation of tasks in visual arts studios, learning about contemporary cultural and social phenomena and knowledge of art history. At the same time, the student learns about the forms of project presentation, modern tools of computer design and 3D visualization, necessary on the labor market.

We put emphasis on the individual creative development of students. In the course of work on studio projects, we analyze utility and social aspects, innovative solutions and aesthetics. The studies are supplemented by the offer of competitions, design workshops, trips, cooperation with business and other universities.

A graduate in the 3-year cycle of bachelor's studies receives initial preparation for work as a designer, but also for cooperation with related industries. A bachelor's diploma gives you the opportunity to continue as part of second-cycle studies in the field of design arts, including design, design, interior design, visual arts.

The subjects you will encounter during your studies include:
painting, drawing, visual structures, sculpture, architectural design, basics of interior design, ergonomics, descriptive geometry and perspective, bionics and basics of design, building structures and technologies, construction with materials science, basics of furniture design, basics of exhibition design, computer-aided design, history of interior design and furniture, foreign language
